Steve's passion for the real estate industry is evident in his years of experience and unwavering confidence in taking on any challenge that comes his way. Alongside his wife Anna, Steve finds immense joy in helping buyers and sellers achieve their dreams in the world of real estate. While his journey into the field may have started with a suggestion from a client and the financial support to obtain a license, Steve's love for the business goes far beyond his initial entry point.
His ideal Portland day: Simply waking up to the realization that he resides in Portland is a truly amazing feeling for him. Although Steve may become irritable when the rain starts pouring down, it's worth noting that the city's clear skies, lush green surroundings, and the genuine appreciation for residing here wouldn't exist without the rain. Portland's weather has a unique way of filtering out individuals who are not truly committed to living here. Only after experiencing a few winters here can one genuinely understand the love and admiration for Portland.
His Superpower: Steve is a natural protector, fiercely devoted to safeguarding his loved ones, clients, and friends. Recently, he has also developed a strong sense of protectiveness towards his new puppy, Bella. Steve strongly opposes any form of bullying or mistreatment, and is quick to defend those who are vulnerable or marginalized
Superpower he wishes he had: Steve often yearns for the ability to soar like an eagle. Tedious car journeys leave him feeling bored and he imagines himself spreading his wings and taking to the skies, effortlessly gliding from one house showing to the next.
Favorite moment in real estate: During one transaction, Steve represented a buyer interested in a rural property located adjacent to Forest Park. However, this particular deal was riddled with obstacles and challenges, causing numerous setbacks along the way. Just as everyone was ready to sign and close the transaction, the buyer phoned from the property to report that their neighbor, who shared a driveway with them, was running around their house in their underwear while firing a gun. Despite the unexpected turn of events, the deal eventually went through, albeit with considerable difficulty.
Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? Mt. Tabor/Montavilla holds a special place in Steve's heart. The community's walkability, friendly locals, and close proximity to Mt. Tabor Park have captured his affection. Although Steve and Anna previously resided in Sellwood, which also boasts its own charm, Mt. Tabor has since become their beloved neighborhood.
