She/Her

A Broker since 2002 and co-owner of Urban Nest Realty, Rachel is a big fan of The Wizard of Oz and believes wholeheartedly that "There's No Place Like Home." She loves houses of all kinds, and is an old house aficionado with a particular soft spot for everything mid-century modern. She's a terrific negotiator and advocate for her clients, and believes that a willing buyer and willing seller—with the help of a great agent—can work out just about anything.

Her ideal Friday afternoon in Portland would start with shopping boutiques on NW 23rd Avenue and downtown Portland (she's still searching for her very own pair of ruby red slippers), picking up an iced decaf non-fat latte at Sterling Coffee, spending time with her cats Baby Rupert, Saffron & Louise and going out for date night with her handsome Irish husband to eat a hamburger and drink a glass of Vieux Telegraph Chatueau-Neuf du Pape, 2007.

Her superpower: Let’s just say they don't call her the Bidding War Queen for nothing.

Superpower she wishes she had: The patience of a Saint.

Favorite moments in real estate: There are so many! With buyers Rachel loves collecting repair bids and using her writing skills to persuasively talk a seller into giving her buyer multiple repairs and credits. On the sell side Rachel enjoys helping her sellers make their homes look so great that they get multiple offers well over asking price.

Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? NW Nob Hill is it. As a single woman Rachel lived on NW 21st Avenue 20 years ago and recently moved back to the same street with her husband and three cats. She loves condo living and being three floors up with a balcony from which she can survey the active and energetic neighborhood she loves to call home. She's a stone's throw away from her favorite restaurants - Serratto's, Cafe Mingo, Ranch Pizza, Cafe Negociant and Bar Dianne and just down the block from her favorite shopping at Twist, The Meadow and Superette. This is as close to living in Paris as Rachel can find in Portland.
