At a young age, Blake developed a deep interest in all things real estate. This interest and a strong work ethic ultimately led to a career as a home inspector. Desiring to use the knowledge he’d gained as an inspector to help others to the best of his ability, Blake decided that a career in real estate would be the perfect fit! Blake genuinely believes that Portland has something to offer everyone and wants to use his creative skills, technical knowledge, and passion for supporting others to help anyone he can with the home buying/selling process!
His ideal adventure for an urban Portland day: Blake’s ideal Portland day would start with a walk to Heart Coffee Roasters for an iced americano, followed by a morning bike ride down the Eastbank Esplanade & Springwater Corridor. Then he would grab some vegan pastries from Shoofly Bakery and have a picnic at Cathedral Park with his wife and their dog, Rudy. After that, Blake would probably make a quick stop at Revival Drum Shop to nerd out about vintage drum gear and then end the day with dinner at Mirisata and a movie at Hollywood Theatre.
His superpower: An enthusiasm for connecting with people in real, meaningful ways and creating long lasting relationships with the people he meets.
Superpower he wishes he had: X-Ray vision! So that he could see through walls and save clients lots of headache!
Favorite moment/s in real estate: There’s no better feeling than helping someone realize that homeownership is an option for them and watching first time buyers become homeowners!
Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? Alberta Arts District is a neighborhood that feels quintessentially Portland. It has so many fantastic restaurants, coffee shops, and amenities, but has a very unique character. It’s also the first neighborhood that made Blake fall in love with the city of Portland!
