Alexis is deeply inspired by her grandmother, Sandra, particularly in the realm of real estate. From a young age, Alexis observed Grandma Sandra’s strong sense of homeownership as she meticulously cared for both her own home and Alexis’s childhood home. Alexis saw the value Sandra created when she transformed an unfinished basement into additional functional living space for the family and began renting out the ADU she had built for additional income. Grandma Sandra’s real estate savvy has supported their family for years, since 2021 Alexis has assisted with helping other people thrive in their own real estate ventures alongside Urban Nest Owners, Rachel Freed & Holly Burton on Team Nest.

Her adventure for an urban Portland day: The perfect Portland day starts with a homemade latte and some peaceful time watering the garden. Then, it's off to Sauvie Island for a day trip with my husband, Josh and our dog, Townes enjoying the beach or hiking and exploring local farms. Back home, the evening is spent preparing dinner while listening to a favorite podcast (comedy, The Bachelorette, or NPR related) followed by dining al fresco on the patio—weather permitting, of course!

Her superpower: Organizing (credenza/bathroom drawers and digital files).

Superpower she wishes she had: The ability to parallel park perfectly every time.

Favorite moment/s in real estate: The intimate learning experiences—getting to know people, understanding their unique wants, needs, challenges, and desires, and discovering the quirks and character of a 100+ year old home.

Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? Alexis spent much of her childhood at her Grandma’s house in Woodstock, which has given her a deep connection to the neighborhood. With BiMart’s ‘Lucky Number Tuesday’, the cereal bar at Papaccino’s, and extended family nearby, it feels like home in the best way.
